What Makes Design Segue Different
Meet Your Mentor
Hi, I'm Tsai-ling Lei, or just call me Lei. 🙌
I’m a Design Lead in the healthcare tech space, where I help grow and guide design teams, strengthen product experiences, and build collaborative, user-centered ways of working across the company.
Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in mentoring and teaching. I offer one-on-one UX lessons that help designers build real projects, deepen their skills, and feel more confident in their career paths. I also coach mentees through portfolio building, interviews, and finding their unique voice as designers.
Before moving into healthcare, I worked on e-commerce redesigns and conversational AI projects. Across all my roles, I enjoy supporting people as they grow, learn, and step into the next stage of their design journey.

”Lei has been an amazing mentor during my transition into UX Design. As someone working in AI, she has not only taught me how to effectively use AI in design, but also helped me understand its larger impact on society and the environment. Lei is incredibly resourceful, I swear she is always ready with an article, template, or guide whenever I have a question.”

”Before meeting Lei, I had paid for other mentorship programs, but none of them truly helped me identify and remove obstacles. I can confidently say that it was because of this mentorship, because of Lei's support and valuable advice, that I was finally able to break the curse of not being able to build my portfolio. I never expected that I would be able to produce so much in such a short amount of time.”
— Chrissy Lee

”Lei was well-prepared, and I appreciated how much she valued our conversation. She answered my questions in such an organized way and even threw in some extra helpful info, making it easy for me to understand everything. It felt like I was talking to a friend because she’s so caring.”
